Phwee, er, oww?

artyartieHopefully we'll get better at the whole hitting the designated target area thing. I've discovered three lovely purple and yellow bruises on my thighs from Thursday, evidently. And this was wearing rather thick sweats, too! But I'm looking forward to class on Thursday - my highlight of the week!
Tired from this weekend but it was oh-so good. 'Nii-chan and I ended up going to the science museum yesterday, which was just marvelous. We must have made countless comments about being in our natural element, which was very true. We played around in the space science wing, where I discovered I have a cold nose thanks to an infrared camera(!) and ooohed and aaahed over the pretty rocks. We saw the 'Passport to the Universe' show at the planetarium, which was utterly amazing. You head out to the Orion Nebula, look at some newborn stars, then you head outside of our galaxy. When you were suspended amid the filaments of galactic superclusters, thin roped and webs of reddish light, it was so beautiful and overwhelming for a moment I thought I'd just cry.
So a fun, if brief visit, but I'll be down in taos in less than two weeks. Saying goodbye is infinetly easier when you know you'll see each other in a matter of days.
When next year comes around, and I'm nearly a thousand a miles away with a few months in between visits, goodbye is going to be a great deal harder.
