2,055 words. Feeling pretty good right now! Hopefully, my presentation for archaeology tomorrow won't be a train wreck with my voice - I'm still thinking a bit of liquer in my coffee would fix that. The story thus far has been added to my last post - I'll have to find a good way to post all of it. Or most of it, anyway, if people would like to read it.

Cygna, I've still got yours from last year, but who else on my lovely flist has a NaNo profile? Mine is artyartie, same as usual, so feel free to add me if you'd like - and let me know who you are on NaNo so I can add you!

It's October 1st and the NaNo site is up. And it's shiny and beautiful and the Dear help me, until it comes between those 50,000 words and my research papers, I think I'm going to do NaNo this year. I am alternately terrified and elated at the thought.

Well..

My NaNo isn't dead, but I am way behind - I need to write at least 3,000+ words a day for the next five days to catch up. Looks like I'll be staying in Denver for Thanksgiving, sigh, so I'll probably just hang out at the Tattered and sip tea and write. Could be worse. It's all still handwritten, so whenever I get time, I'll be typing it up. It's just hard to get the inner editor to be quiet lately. Silly inner editor.
