The next time I do an insane update, I'm doing it on a Friday or Saturday. So very tired and my vision is starting to do weird things. But a week before the Bicentennial, my new Trafalgar-themed layout is all but done! It needs a few tweaks - such as making those outside links work, but I rather like it. Added a Master and Commander mood theme, which was worth all the work! But now, it is off to bed - good night, er, morning, all!

hahahaha... sleep... that seems to be a rather elusive goal these days. i think my norm is about 5.5 hrs a night now... so basically i plan on sleeping ALL weekend. i really hope things settle down soon. and i completely sympathize with the strange vision. that happens to me every night.

this is a pretty sweet new layout btw. makes me want to go home and watch all the british miniseries we own, most especially "heat of the sun" and cadfael. i hope the bicentennial is amazing! and your obsession was official well before you made this layout, rest assured.

*squees* Another Cadfael fan! I'm halfway through the books and I like the DVDs I've seen. They're just such fun, well-done mysteries - and I adore the characters! Out of curiosity, have you read any of the Lord Peter mysteries by Sayers? Or seen any of the Horatio Hornblower movies?

I'm really pleased with my new layout and the M&C mood theme I found - though that does mean Teal'C, Daniel and Jack will be on hiatus for a bit..

yes, i love cadfael. i've seen all the movies that our library has and i've tried to start reading the books, but i always end up side tracked by some fantasy novel or other ^^;; i have read a little lord peter, seen both versions - ian charmichael (all 5) and edward petherbridge (all 3). i'm definitely a british mystery series addict. have you seen any of the poirot's with david suchet and hugh frasier? i HIGHLY recommend them. horatio hornblower, however, is still on my must see list.

and that's fine, as long as teal'c, daniel, and jack come back eventually...

You know, just yesterday I learned that Horatio Hornblower was born on your birthday!

Really? Sweet! I'm up to Hornblower and the Atropros, and I have to admit, the character became so very unlikeable to me in that book. Grrrr! I nearly lost it during Nelson's funeral wild flume ride. Hopefully once he gets a mistress Horatio will be a lot less cranky!

i love your new theme, but the white on blue is a bit harder to read. i just finished 'h.m.s. surprise,' though i read it out of order. you would think that a county the size of miami-dade would have more than one copy of 'post captain' on the library shelves! but i have it now. and since i read them all in order the first time, i figure it doesn't make much difference the second time around.
