Oh, this web site for the movie is utterly beautiful. The concept of the daemon is so intriguing (and so very Heraclitian!) - if you haven't read The Golden Compass you should add it to your summer reading list!

Hee - It seemed a good fit to me, though I'm glad you think it's a good fit, too! This is one of the most beautiful memes I've done in years. You should take it tomorrow, once you're free from schoolwork!

I've done it twice already, with the same result both times (which almost never happens); the only reason I haven't posted is that something went wrong when I tried. But it'll wait. And perhaps I should learn something about the ocelot.

It is a beautiful meme, and site, and that series is one of the ones I'm most desperately missing.

The code doesn't go to e-mail right - you have to copy and paste right when you first get it on the web site. But now the web site is being screwy (for me, at least), so hopefully you can take it again once it will show your daemon!

I read those books... oh goodness, so long ago. It was sixth grade, I think. They're so good, they still stick with me after all these years.

I agree with your daemon ^_^ It's so cute! And what a great name.

They're just wonderful - the writing is so rich and lyrical, and a world Phillip Pullman created! Along with the Bartimaeus Trilogy, they're my favorite YA fantasy. *starts wondering and hoping if they'll make a movie of the Bartimaeus books..*

Oh, his name is wonderful! I hope he keeps his form - though my friend got this beautiful feline daemon. You should take the quiz and post your daemon!

Oh, that reminds me, there is an amazing SGA fic set in a HDM world, where people have daemons - Just seeing what daemons people had was fun.

I defintely agree with that! I would LOVE to see a well-made Bartimaeus movie.

Check out my journal! I got a wolf!!!

Hmm really? What's the fic called? Because, yeah, I'd love to see who had which daemon...

Yay! I had to hunt through [livejournal.com profile] thefourthvine's recs, but the story is here (http://trinityofone.livejournal.com/25344.html). It's a little slashy at the end (but just smooching), but it's so very good!

Unchanged!

For some reason, the link is broken on my f'list page, but works fine on your journal. (Same with everyone else. I have to follow a cut or go to comments to see it.) It probably has to do with my settings.
