I was working on a 'Physics of The Old Wine Shades' for longpidcc when I hit the wrong button and went back a page. When I tried to go 'forward' to my Update Journal' page, it only reloaded the first two words. And I had almost finished the first part on quantum mechanics! *sigh* Perhaps, in a parallel universe, I managed to retrieve the entry.

At least I get to use disappointed!Stephen in my mood theme.

Quantum mechanics!??? You must try again so that I know exactly how brilliant you truly are and so that I can congratulate the University of San Diego for recognizing said brilliance.


I hate waiting for acceptance letters. I am still waiting for a few in Canada and two in the UK. It is driving me insane. I am so glad that you got one!

I'm on draft number 2 now - the first one was so pretensious, and quantum mechanics doesn't need any more of that! But I'm an old physics groupie - my parents got me a telescope and an astronomy book when I was little and that's probably what hooked me. And even though the math would probably make my head explode, the ideas in modern physics just fascinate me. :)

Good luck during the waiting! Where are you applying and what programs are you going for? But thanks again, even two days later, there's moments I have to look at the letter to be sure it's real!
