Futzing around on the Craigslist site tonight, bouncing between Denver and Minneapolis, I found this gem of a personal ad on the Denver site. Read it and weep for humanity - especially if this idiot finds the shallow woman he desires and decides to procreate.

Ew. (I'm interested to know what kind of brain-dead uneducated type would spend time 'composing music', though.)

I guess I should get my uptight (?) self back to my carefully controlled (?) life now.

Yeah, the composing music bit struck me as rather odd, too. I think he's pulling his definition of proper womanhood out of an 1880's manual, with a bizzare modern twist.

Though to redeem the non-distaff side of humanity, I did find this lovely little poem (http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/m4w/62360989.html) on the Minneapolis craigslist site and I admit, I am a bit tempted.

I can understand why that would appeal to you more than the one from your original post.

{swoons} That is so...

I'm going to post the link, because it must be shared.

Hee, that poor boy will be so overwhelmes with responses! But swoon is an appropriate response indeed.

And I actually did reply to him (in haiku, of course!) so we'll see what happens... :)
