A simple request/prayer/entreaty

Please admit me to your school, and if you are feeling kind, give me money to do so. Inform me at your soonest convenience, as that bottle of celebratory cider is begging to be opened.

if you haven't guessed, I'm still waiting - as far as I know, the last meeting of the admissions committee for the department was last week so I should be hearing *something* soon. I hope. So look for a big, happy smiley post in the next week or so, or, well, one big post 'o angst. Probably nothing much until then, though some story bits that have flitted into my head recently may be posted to amicula. Hope everyone's doing well in their respective little corners of the world..

Well, it's still in preliminary stages, so I don't want to say too much and jinx it, but the main character is a grad student in crisis.
