My journal is called artemesia's lj. because I must have been really freaking lazy that day. That is something to be updated. And soon.

I think my subtitle is step into my parlor after the quote. I don't know what struck me to use that particular quote, but there it is. That may need to be updated as well.

My friends page is called said the spider to the fly following my subtitle. Again, something that should be changed.

My username is artyartie. Artemesia (after the Greek general who betrayed the Athenians, not the painter) is my writing name, and I just made a little pun off that. I do like the name so that's one thing I won't change.

My default userpic is of a girl in a canoe, with the phrase "Once upon a time..." This is based off a dream I had where I was canoeing and extremely happy. Trying to write about the dream, the first thing that came to mind was 'Once upon a time there was a girl who dreamed of a canoe."

My name is listed as artyartie because I didn't even think of doing something witty. I thought of changing it to 'don't blame me, I voted for kerry' after the elections.

My journal is now called "just keep dreaming til the dawn." My dream life is especially vivid and on rare occasion, mildly precognitive, and so I wanted to give it a brief homage.

My subtitle is "ruminations of a solitary advisor." My name can either mean counselor/advisor or solitary/lonely, depending on whether the meaning is taken from the Latin or the Greek.

My friends page is called "counselors and companions" because that is what all of you are, in myriad ways.

My username and userpic are the same.

My name is listed as 'the sleeping enchantress.'' This notion came to me a few years ago, that if my life was a fairy tale, I was both the sleeping princess under the spell and the enchantress who had laid the curse on her at the same time.
