As most of you, my f-list, are very literate and bibliophillic people, I thought this Sunday would be of note to you. When I worked at the Tattered, I loved Book and Lover's Day, even if our roses were always a bit on the thorny side. So even if you don't have a novio or novia, get yourself a book and a blossom.

*coughs* If you don't, you'll make the half-Catalonian doctor in the icon cry. Or get very irate.

Lovely day. We should have it all over the world because roses and books go together so well. :D My stacks of books are already reaching dangerous proportions and the roses on my quarterdeck (balcony) are already doing well.

getting my hands on a book isn't a problem (i've become very anti-social at meal times b/c i've found that's the best time to get in reading ^^;; i'm very into the latest jasper fforde book), it's the rose that'll prove difficult. maybe if i buy one at the grocery store...

I personally think the half-catalonian doctor in the icon is rather sexy when he cries, and or gets irate, and or sips fermented rain water distilled on some black rock on some deserted island.

Nonetheless, I think this is one of the loveliest things I have stumbled upon all week and will find myself a tasty book-treat to be sure!
