Yay for your good time! I'm not all that scrapple-comprehending myself, but my dad grew up in a Pennsylvania Dutch family in which breakfast was routinely scrapple and fried cornmeal mush. (Probably with a chaser of a cup of bacon fat, from the way he describes it.) Dunno about the random bits 'n' pieces aspect, but piggy does taste yummy.
