Angry Bumblebees

On the good side, I got a badly needed haircut. On the bad side, heh. Let me start.
At least our audit at work went well. I got hit with a slew of rapid fire MSDS questions, and it turns out a procedure we were doing was a little wrong. But at least they were happy, which is good, cause we've been working our asses off for the past few weeks getting ready for the visit from our management and IBM management. So afterwards our manager gave us a little 'good job' speech (screw the speech, up our salaries to a liveable wage) and then said I'd probably be limited in my ability to cover shifts (for people who weren't there and hence not getting hours!) and get a few more measly hours. Bastards, bastards, bastards. We're having a mini-review tomorrow and I am so going to have to bite my tongue to the point of cutting it off.
So after work, I indulge in me and get a badly needed haircut. Was starting to look like a mangy lion for a bit. Have a good 2 hour walk home (getting exercise and saving my bus tickets for mornings and tired/rainy days) and a decent shoping trip at Target (cheap hair color, hurrah) to come home to an e-mail from my Mom about a recent breakup that really troubled me and has led to many ranty e-mails.
To spite my crappy day I watched the new Queer Eye and ate a cream egg. And still I want to scream into my pillow or cry. It's just the opposite of the days where I wanted to do nothing but lie in bed - everything is near the surface and my thoughts feel like angry bees slamming against my skull.
Maybe this very bitchy post will let some of the bees out before new ones can take their place. Damn them.
