Sweet merciful God, it is cold outside. No, no, this is beyond cold. I've been in the office for nearly an hour now and I still can't feel the tip of my nose. At least the brain sucking pain in my forehead from walking into the wind and the -17 degree windchills is finally gone. Trudging through the snow this morning, sans the new hat I bought yesterday just for today, dragging a suitcase behind me, in that biting cold wind that threw snowflakes like tiny needles in my face and ripped my breath out of my lungs, was hands down the worst climactic experience yet of the year. And yet through it all, there was part of me saying that if I had snowpants, a ski mask and a good parka that the walk would actually be enjoyable.

Well, taking a look at deskstop weather it's warmed up to -10 windchills. Woo hoo!

I'm in Denver. Usually the average high for today is 43 degrees - with windchill, we haven't even gotten about 0 degrees today. It's just hovering at -1 right now...no, no, wait! It says it feels like 10 degrees outside! Whoo!

*chuckles* I'll be glad to send all the snow and frigid air you want, once I figure out how to send it.
