With this quiz result, I couldn't help but post it. :)

Lord of the rings
J.R.R. Tolkien: Lord of the Rings. You are
entertaining and imaginative, creating whole
new worlds around yourself. Well loved, you
have a whole league of imitators, none of which
is quite as profound as you are. Stories and
songs give a spark of joy in the middle of your
eternal battle with the forces of evil.

Why am I not surprised?

Looks like I'm also Lord of the Rings. I even tried to avoid choices that we obviously along the lines of, "Well, okay, yeah, that's just gotta be +5 for Lord of the Rings".

Of course, I kind of wanted to stay away from The Picture of Dorian Gray as well. My spider-sense told me that was lurking back there somewhere, making people's noses wrinkle when they enter the room. (I had to write a literary analysis of that book once. For a 200-page novel, it was remarkable in having 185 pages of florrid sensual descriptions of nothing in particular, and precious little in the way of plot.)

I didn't even notice Lord of the Rings was one of the choices - personally, I was hoping for Umberto Eco. Or Douglas Adams, which *should* have been on the list, really.
