Unpinchable

Only on a day like today would you walking around thinking you had to right to pinch random people, even if you don't. But as I did wear green the most of the day, no pinches here!

Still plugging away on Chapter 4, which is around 2100 words and about 80% done. Even though I know people are understanding about updates (I'm eagerly awaiting ashacrone's next chapter of "The Bet"), I'd like to be working regularly on this. Knowing I've written at least a page every night makes me feel accomplished, and as an aspiring writer, it's something I should be doing.

Alas, as a writer, someone dropped me from their author alerts on ff.net. I know that shouldn't bother me but in a way it does. And even though I won't be one of those authors who simply stops writing if they don't get reviews, I just like knowing someone is actually reading my stories. And I can always use the helpful comments - who can't!

I wore green without even thinking about what day it was. But that whole pinching tradition, well, it's just weird, now you think about it...and kind of barbaric. I'm glad most people outgrow it by age 9 or so. After that age, it starts to become grounds for sexual harassment.
