The Obligatory GJ/IJ post
Aug. 7th, 2007 10:27 pmThankfully, I'm 'artyartie' at both places, so if you want to add me, please, feel free to do so. I used Antennapedia's wonderful journal migration tool for Macs to migrate my journal to IJ, and so that should be an exact mirror, eventually. GJ will be concurrently updated from sometime soon, probably by fiddling with iJournal - it won't post to multiple journals simultaneously but it makes it easier to crosspost.
And now I have totally wasted an hour reading old journal entries. Bah!
ETA: I'm not leaving LJ, but I've just set up these accounts so I can keep track of my friends here if they do go elsewhere. Sorry for vague phrasing!
In other news, United is having a fare sale to the UK for the fall, so
otahyoni, you might want to take a look! They have a good fare from LAX, so you think they should have a good fare from Denver. And it looks like Virgin Atlantic is having sales from most of its cities, so you could get a good connecting flight.
spacemonkey_27, if you haven't gotten your ticket, you might want to take a look at both sites!

Date: 2007-08-08 03:25 pm (UTC)Virgin had some wonderfully low fares for some cities, so I hope you can get one of those - even for economy you get all kinds of fun perks.

Date: 2007-08-08 07:24 pm (UTC)I checked Virgin, but they didn't have any flights available for the dates that I'm going. I'll have to check back later. A friend of mine works for an airline and said that British Airways have sales in October for $200 round trip.
