Tonight I indulged myself and went out to see Pride and Prejudice again. After a lovely time and some heartfelt sniffling at the end, I got on a rather long busride home, solely to avoid being out in the cold. When I stumbled out of the bus, half-asleep and bleary-eyed, the sight above was absolutely breathtaking. Orion soaring above the horizon, the stars twinkling bright as jewels in the deep, deep blue sky, with a veritable fleet of pale blue clouds sailing across them, illuminated by the waxing moon. My mouth fell open and I almost gave a little cry of joy, it was just so beautiful, and something that could only be seen late on a winter night.
