My nephew, Jason Timothy, was born this morning - both he and mom are doing fine. He weighed 10 pounds, one ounce! This is my first nephew and I'm just happy beyond words - though I was terribly anxious this morning! My sister is a mom and I'm now Auntie Monica - with a nephew to corrupt with dinosaurs, astronomy, the age of fighting sail and hockey. I can't wait. :)

this is exciting news! send your sister my best. i know she will be exhausted for the next year or so, but the happiness will outlast the exhaustion (speaking from experience). when will you be able to see jason? when will you be able to post pictures?
