Second Philipics FTW XD. I always wonder that no one had been using it somewhat in the Rome fics. You have a gorgeously complicated Mark Antony being out-seduced by Cicero to an extent. It's perfectly wonderful.

Also, I think your Cicero is an excellent reconciliation between the one onscreen and the one preserved in texts. We're reading Cicero's 'On Old Age" for Latin class, this fic reminds me of where he(Cato, as written by Cicero) talks about the pleasures of going to friends' houses for parties and staying up into the deep of the night even as an old man....>:)
