Cafe Press brings the Lulz

Thanks to the wonders of Internet business and the quirks of naming conventions both for cities and people (namely, the orator/statesman/crankypants in the icon), I have been a little bundle of giggling glee on my couch. Some of these are just so deliciously wrong they have to be seen to be believed.

A shirt for Atticus..
Change 'dating' to 'marrying' and you have something for Terentia..
This made me giggle faaaaar too much - draw your own conjecture on this shirt!
For people who were a little overwrought watching Philippi...oh, wait...
They'd be lining up in Rome to buy this one..

Those seem to be made for you! I love the sheer geekery of it all. :)

Because then you'll get all the dumb people wondering if Cicero was one of the baddies from The Sopranos that they can't quite remember. Or if it's the new pizza place in town...

There's a shirt with the saying in this icon I may have to get in advance of hosting the second installment of 'Rome' for my history club! Our adviser teased me the first time around over my favorite historical figure in the series - though he was fairly impressed I got to meet two of the actors during my stay in London!

This is admitting to some shameless geekery, but there is a cafe in Napa, CA called Cafe Cicero, and I "innocently" convinced a friend we should go there for dinner. Besides the awesome name, their food is fabulous and cheap.

Well there is a difference between "innocently" convincing someone to go somewhere for specific fangirl reasons they know nothing about, and being downright dumb. My friends are all leery whenever I suggest something now, because they all know there's usually a fangirl reason for it!

And yay for Team t-shirts! Any others besides Cicero?

I really suck at timely replies!

I didn't notice any other team ones, but I'm certain those shirts were just from a "Team (insert any possible given name)" place. I had heard HBO themselves was doing Atia and Servilia, but if they didn't have the name you wanted, you could always make it yourself! The joys of Cafe Press...
